We will be welcoming Amanda Gwynne, Bio-resonance therapist, (www.amandagwynne.co.uk) to the Althos Clinic from Friday 26th August and every fortnight from then on.
After a career as a Registered Nurse and Midwife, Amanda has a desire to provide holistic care to her patients and this has led her on a journey of exploration and learning. To complement her skills and expertise Amanda has qualified in complementary therapies and Bio-resonance therapy. She believes in the benefits of bio-resonance as a natural, vibrational healing therapy as the holistic approach to treat the “whole person”.
Bio-resonance Therapy is a natural vibrational healing therapy that is non invasive, painless and safe to use for all ages. Bio-resonance is an innovative therapy based on modern biophysics.
Every cell in our body resonates at an individual frequency in health and this frequency becomes lower or distorted when the body becomes imbalanced, leading eventually to disease. The premise of bio-resonance is to determine the root cause of imbalance and disease by energetically testing all the relevant physiological systems for allergens, acid/alkaline balance, environmental toxin, geopathic stress, etc.
Once imbalances have been detected they are harmonised using the Rayocomp device to aid in the healing process by your body, facilitating a return to homeostasis (balance).
Testing and harmonisation may be carried out for the following problems:
- Allergies and intolerances
- Geopathic stress and E-smog
- Digestive disorders
- Fertility and Menopause imbalances
- Lyme Disease
- Neurological disorders such as MS, and Parkinson’s Disease
- Post-viral fatigue (ME)
- Psychological stress

Cai Elias-Schofield is moving on from the Althos Clinic where he has been the osteopath for the last 4 years. We are sad to see him go, as are his patients, who have been letting us know how much they will miss him. He has been an exceptional osteopath and built up a huge following of happy patients here, but he is now moving on to new opportunities in Liverpool and we all wish him and Lana well for the future.
Introducing our new osteopath Bradley Blair Bsc.(Hons)
Bradley graduated from the College of Osteopaths in 2007 and after working as a teaching assistant at the college helping students with Osteopathic techniques and anatomy, he also worked in private practice in London. Bradley then moved up to Scotland 5 years ago to work as an osteopath at Gleneagles Hotel treating sports injuries and most recently he has practised privately in Glasgow. Bradley is passionate about osteopathy and its structured approach to many painful musculoskeletal conditions which can help improve overall quality of life. Bradley’s approach is to restore proper function by reducing postural strains or imbalances with gentle hands on treatment by using a variety of different techniques, gentle stretching, soft tissue massage, joint articulation, acupuncture, kinesio taping and spinal manipulation. He also uses Cranial Osteopathy which treats the whole body to regain health. It is a non-invasive, safe, gentle and extremely effective treatment working on many levels which influence various structures within the body.
Bradley has also worked in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and finds that being an osteopath has made his personal training very specific to clients with injuries and his knowledge allows him to prescribe safe and effective exercises.
In his free time Bradley enjoys walking in the Scottish Highlands. He is also a fitness fanatic and goes to the gym 5 times a week! He is looking forward to joining us here at The Althos Clinic. Appointments can be booked by phoning 01738 622864 or email email@example.com.
